Labor Affair Internship

1.     To integrate academic theory with practical experience, the Institute has established the “Labor Affairs Internship” course.

 

2.     This course is a required course for full-time master’s students, worth 2 credits per academic year. Contents include:

(1)    Labor Affairs Internship: Labor Market (I) & (II)

(2)    Labor Affairs Internship: Labor Laws (I) & (II)

(3)    Labor Affairs Internship: Labor Relations (I) & (II)

(4)    Labor Affairs Internship: Human Resources (I) & (II)

(5)    Labor Affairs Internship: Social Security (I) & (II)

 

3.     Internship placements and case studies are arranged by the course instructors, with administrative support provided by the Institute’s office. Final grades are determined by the instructors based on students’ internship performance and internship report, and may also take into account evaluations or comments from the host organizations.

 

4.     The Course consists of two contact hours per week. Alternatively, the internship period may be arranged by the instructors in coordination with host organizations, and is scheduled for at least one month during the summer following the second semester of the first year. Within one month after completion of the internship, students are required to submit an internship report of no fewer than 3,000 words.

 

5.     These regulations shall come into effect after being approved by a resolution of the Graduate Institute of Labor Research Council Meeting, and the same shall apply to any subsequent amendments.
