Acting as the major base in the domestic study of social sciences, the Institute is fully supported by the university. NCCU has fully optimized and empowered its teaching and research resources.
The Graduate Institute of Labor Research has regularly hosted international symposiums, and, when necessary, has invited professors from internationally-recognized universities as chair professors. The Institute has also signed cooperation agreements with foreign universities for the exchange of teachers and students.
With an emphasis on devoting equal attention to theory and practice, general students and in-service training students are recruited separately but attend classes together to allow the institute to cultivate graduates of the same caliber.
