1. Principles for the Appointment of Part-time Assistants
- In accordance with University regulations, the Graduate Institute of Labor Research primarily appoints research assistants and provides stipends in order to encourage students to complete their master’s theses, participate in academic activities, engage in research, and publish research results.
- Full-time faculty members determine their own recruitment plans and quotas. An additional position is provided to assist with editorial work for the NCCU Journal of Labor Studies.
- Administrative affairs of the Institute are mainly supported by part-time assistants. Temporary assistants may be hired when necessary for specific activities such as admissions, alumni events, and large-scale events.
- Note: Recruitment plans and quotas are determined by individual faculty members. Faculty members should explain relevant regulations to prospective students in advance, and appointments shall be made upon mutual agreement.
2. Information on the Recruitment of Research Assistants

- Application procedure:
- Students who have confirmed participation in a faculty member’s plan and will begin in the current month must complete the required forms with the supervising professor and submit them to the Institute Office by December 5.
- After completion of the program, the evaluation form must be submitted to the Institute Office by December 31, 2025.
- Stipend disbursement:
Stipends will be distributed monthly or at the end of the semester, depending on the faculty member’s plan. The amount will be based on the approved plan, and disbursement will follow University procedures.
